In BarahonaBREAKING NEWS : Barahona.- The Department of Public Health and Social Welfare (SESPAS) through the Provincial Health Directorate
(DPS) is conducting a massive vaccination day for dogs and cats.
The information was disclosed by the provincial director of health, Amelia Figuereo Feliz, who explained that this action was to prevent human and animal rabies in the province.
Right now we’re working to prevent rabies in our province
, she said.
She said that a fixed vaccination was installed at the Provincial Directorate of Health, but operations were also underway in various parts of the city, where there are plenty of dogs.
Feliz added that this operation will be extended to various municipalities in the province in order to vaccinate as possible to pets, especially dogs.
